For Shopify sellers with a PayPal limitation
PayPal limited your account. Don't confuse the hold with your next checkout decision.
A limitation can affect withdrawals, payments or account features. First learn exactly what PayPal is asking you to resolve. Then decide whether your Shopify store needs an eligible, independent setup for future orders.
Whop processing fees are separate. Payment eligibility and payouts are controlled by Whop.
Products, cart and fulfillment stay on Shopify.
Your connected, eligible Whop business processes the payment.
Confirmed paid orders sync for the normal fulfillment workflow.
You have two separate jobs: your existing account and your next sale.
Do not treat a new checkout as a way around a payment provider's identity checks or account restrictions. First follow the official review process. Separately, decide whether your Shopify store needs a different, independently approved payment setup for future transactions.
What to do before switching providers
- Open PayPal directly and check the Resolution Center or account notifications. Confirm exactly which actions are limited and why.
- Provide truthful business, identity, supplier or fulfillment information requested by PayPal. Do not use links in suspicious messages.
- Keep a record of pending refunds, disputes, promised deliveries and money held in the existing PayPal account.
- Only after that, evaluate a separately approved payment option for future Shopify transactions if the storefront is still active.
- Before moving live traffic, test a complete transaction, shipping total and matching paid Shopify order.

What your account notice might actually mean
Account limitation
PayPal may restrict certain activities such as transfers or payments. Check the exact account notice; not every limitation has the same effect.
Pending withdrawal or balance hold
An existing balance remains under PayPal's terms and process. Changing checkout cannot move or unlock those funds.
Seller performance or product review
Assess disputes, fulfillment evidence and actual product eligibility. A different provider may independently review the same risks.
What changes if you choose Voss for future sales?
Your Shopify catalog and fulfillment remain. Voss supplies the separate checkout interface; your own eligible Whop business processes payments, and Voss sends confirmed paid orders to Shopify. That does not change the status of your PayPal account or funds.
A payment hold, reserve or closure at a previous processor remains a matter for that processor. Whop's payment-account approval and payout decisions are independent, so never assume an automatic replacement is available.
Is Voss worth considering for your store?
No email required. Answer two questions to see the sensible next step, not an automated payment approval.
Choose one answer to each question to see your next step.
Questions to settle before deciding
Can Voss remove a PayPal limitation?
No. PayPal handles its own reviews and limitations. Follow its official process.
Can I keep my Shopify store?
Yes, if your store remains active and Whop accepts your business. Customers would use a separate Voss checkout for relevant orders.
Will Whop approve a store that PayPal limited?
Not automatically. Whop independently reviews business type, country, risk and account information. Use accurate information.
How fast will my old PayPal balance be released?
That depends on PayPal's rules and your case. Voss has no access to release it.
