Voss Checkout separates the buyer checkout from Shopify Payments without asking you to rebuild the Shopify operation. The storefront stays in Shopify, the buyer pays through the Voss checkout connected to your Whop account, and successful orders are written back to Shopify.

The flow from storefront to paid Shopify order
1. Connect your Whop account
Connect the Whop account that will process customer payments. If you do not have one yet, Voss guides you through the account setup.
2. Connect your Shopify store
Create the merchant-owned Shopify app Voss needs, then connect it using the store's permanent myshopify.com address and the credentials from that app.
3. Set up the checkout
Choose your checkout branding, store details and checkout domain. Until a custom domain is ready, Voss can use the default checkout address for the store.
4. Connect tracking
Add supported Meta and TikTok tracking so checkout and purchase events can continue to feed the ad systems you use.
5. Test before going live
Run through the buyer flow and confirm the payment, Shopify order, totals and tracking behave the way your store needs before sending live traffic.
What the customer sees
The customer shops on your Shopify storefront as normal. When they move into checkout, Voss displays the checkout experience for your store. The checkout can use your store branding and your own checkout domain, helping the payment step feel connected to the storefront they just used.
What happens after payment
Voss verifies the successful payment and creates the corresponding paid order in Shopify. That lets the merchant continue using Shopify for the parts of the workflow it already handles well: order visibility, inventory, customer operations and fulfillment.
Why Voss verifies totals on the server
The amount shown in the browser is not trusted by itself. Voss re-checks important order details such as product variants, quantity, prices, shipping, discounts and the final total before completing payment. If the underlying price changes, the checkout can refresh rather than silently charging an outdated amount.

What Voss does not promise
Voss does not guarantee payment account approval, payout timing or freedom from platform reviews. Shopify and Whop maintain their own rules and risk decisions. The product is designed to give an existing Shopify store a different checkout/payment architecture, not to remove platform obligations.
