The checkout has to stay correct when the happy path breaks.
Voss is built around payment integrity and order reliability: verify the amount on the server, confirm payment state, create the matching Shopify order once, and recover paid checkouts when a downstream step is interrupted.

Server-side total verification
Voss does not trust the total shown in the browser by itself. Before payment, the server verifies the checkout against the store data and quote, including the product variant, quantity, prices, currency, shipping, discounts and the final amount that should be charged.
Payment state is verified before a paid Shopify order is created
A buyer reaching a success screen is not enough. The payment state and expected checkout details are verified on the server before Voss treats the transaction as paid and writes the corresponding order back to Shopify.
Duplicate-order protection
Payment systems retry webhooks, buyers refresh pages and networks fail at awkward moments. Voss assigns the checkout a stable identifier and checks for an existing matching order before creating another one. The goal is one successful payment becoming one Shopify order.
Paid-order recovery
If payment succeeds but Shopify order creation is interrupted, Voss has a recovery path for paid sessions. Recovery prioritizes matching the existing payment and checkout rather than asking the buyer to pay again.
Store separation
Voss is designed as a multi-store system. Store configuration, integrations and checkout data are scoped to the relevant account so one connected store is not supposed to read or operate on another store's configuration.
Tracking without duplicate purchase events
Meta and TikTok integrations are tied to the checkout lifecycle so purchase tracking can be sent after the completed order flow while using deduplication controls where supported. Tracking should be tested on the exact store before relying on it for ad attribution.
What this page does not promise
No checkout can promise that every external platform will always approve or pay out an account.
Shopify and Whop retain their own compliance, review, dispute, reserve and payout systems. Voss reliability controls the Voss checkout/order path; it does not override third-party platform decisions.
