For Shopify merchants based in Malaysia
Shopify Payments isn't available in Malaysia. Your Shopify store can stay.
Selling from Malaysia to Singapore, Australia or beyond? Keep Shopify order operations and explore a branded checkout connected to Whop.

Products, cart and fulfillment stay on Shopify.
Your connected, eligible Whop business processes the payment.

Built for real cross-border Shopify workflows.
A Kuala Lumpur DTC accessories brand sells to customers in Singapore. It keeps its Shopify inventory and fulfillment and evaluates a Whop-connected checkout for eligible cross-border sales.
A fit worth investigating only when Whop approves the actual Malaysia business, its products and payout setup.
Important for your customers: A Malaysian domestic payment mix can be very different from Singapore and Australian audiences.
How does a Voss checkout compare with the other route?
| What you need | Shopify-supported local provider | Voss + your Whop business |
|---|---|---|
| Keep your Shopify storefront | Usually, with a supported integration | Yes—products, cart and fulfillment stay on Shopify |
| Checkout experience | Depends on provider | Separate branded checkout with visual customization |

Check this before switching: Malaysia's local bank-transfer and wallet expectations should not be confused with overseas card processing.

Confirm your actual business eligibility
Verify your real registered country, business type, products and withdrawal method with Whop. No country page can approve a merchant account.
Test MYR and your main buyer currency
MYR is configured in Voss, but currency configuration is not the same as a confirmed live Whop payment or payout.
Recreate a normal customer order
Use a real cart with products, shipping address and any discounts. Verify methods, order total and completed Shopify order.
Know the full fee
Voss charges 0.5% per successful order. Add Whop payment fees, any currency conversion and applicable Shopify charges when comparing total cost.
Frequently asked questions
Is Shopify Payments available in Malaysia?
No. As of October 2026, Malaysia is not listed in Shopify's supported countries for Shopify Payments. You can still consider eligible third-party providers or a separate checkout.
Can I use Voss if my business is based in Malaysia?
Only if Whop approves your real business, products, payment activity and payout setup. A configured currency or available Voss account does not guarantee Whop merchant approval.
Does Voss have FPX, DuitNow or Touch 'n Go eWallet?
We cannot promise them. Whop chooses available methods; if your conversion depends on FPX, DuitNow or Touch 'n Go, verify that before choosing Voss.
Can I charge MYR with Voss?
MYR is configured as a checkout currency, but individual Whop transactions and payout currencies remain subject to Whop account rules.
Could I use Voss to reach Singapore shoppers?
Potentially for a qualifying Whop business and supported buyer method. Test Singapore customer details, eligible currency and merchant processing before making any claim.
How much does Voss Checkout cost?
Voss has no setup charge or monthly software fee. It charges 0.5% per successfully processed order. Whop processing, conversion and other applicable fees are separate.
Shopify Payments availability in other countries
Verified against Shopify's official supported-country list ↗. Seller and payout eligibility follow Whop's business verification process ↗. Being able to open a Whop or Voss account does not guarantee acceptance of live sales from Malaysia. Voss is independent checkout software, not Shopify Payments or an official Shopify gateway.
Selling outside Malaysia? See if Voss fits your existing Shopify store.
Keep your products and fulfillment in Shopify. Voss connects your storefront to a separate branded checkout where your own Whop business processes payment.
Voss cannot release funds held by another provider or guarantee Whop approval or payout timing.
