Before you make the switch: common objections
Do I need Shopify Plus?
Voss supplies a separate checkout and editor rather than modifying native Shopify checkout internals. It does not require native Plus checkout customization—but the tradeoffs are different.
Will my existing checkout apps and Shop Pay carry over?
Not automatically. Native Shopify checkout apps/extensions and some accelerated payment methods may not work in an external checkout. Test the payment methods your audience needs.
Can you promise higher conversion?
No. There is no proven universal conversion lift. Test the full buyer journey and measure it using real store traffic.
Inspect the actual workflow before committing
Voss provides a separate Shopify checkout that processes payments through your own eligible Whop business. It is not an official Shopify payment gateway, not a guarantee of approval or faster payouts, and not a way to bypass a provider's restrictions. Verify your products, available countries, customer payment methods and the paid-order result.
