For conversion-focused Shopify owners
Your customer trusts the product. Will they trust the page asking for their card?
A store can look polished until checkout opens on a different domain with unfamiliar branding. A credible payment experience answers the buyer's immediate questions: is this my store, what will I pay, who can I contact, and what happens after payment?
Whop processing fees are separate. Payment eligibility and payouts are controlled by Whop.
Products, cart and fulfillment stay on Shopify.
Your connected, eligible Whop business processes the payment.
Confirmed paid orders sync for the normal fulfillment workflow.
An unexpected checkout handoff creates a moment of doubt.
The solution isn't to fill the page with fake trust badges or countdown timers. Help customers recognize your brand, understand the total and shipping, read policies, and reach you when something goes wrong. With Voss, you can brand an external checkout while Shopify remains the storefront and fulfillment system.
Four trust questions buyers ask without saying them
Am I still buying from the same store?
Use consistent brand naming, logo and a verified optional checkout subdomain where appropriate. Clearly disclose that payment is processed separately via Whop.
Is the amount going to change?
Keep product summary, discount, taxes and shipping clear. Voss verifies cart and total server-side before a payment should be treated as complete.
Can I get help or a refund?
Show real return, privacy and terms links plus a reachable support address. A separate checkout does not replace the merchant's customer-service obligations.
What name will be on the statement?
Per Whop's public buyer terms, Whop may appear as the payment processor on a card/bank statement while the seller is identified on the receipt. Avoid telling shoppers they will see only your Shopify brand.
Review the checkout through a first-time customer's eyes
- Start from a mobile Shopify product page and follow the actual published add-to-cart and checkout flow, not an editor preview.
- Compare Shopify branding with the live Voss checkout. Check logo, policy links, copy, optional verified checkout domain and supported payment methods.
- Choose an actual delivery country and shipping method; verify the order summary and final payable amount.
- Complete an authorized paid order. Confirm the real Whop payment and matching paid Shopify order, plus what the buyer sees after completion.
- Check the store's support, refund instructions and any payment-descriptor disclosure, then repeat in relevant mobile or in-app browsers.
- Measure a controlled before/after funnel only after events and purchases are deduplicated; don't claim an uplift without data.
The walkthrough uses an actual Voss-operated checkout image. It does not simulate a payment, make up a conversion-rate comparison, or prove that changing checkout improves sales.
What you can genuinely control—and what you can't
A branded Voss editor
Merchant-controlled visual elements include supported colors, logo, checkout wording and content blocks. Preview your exact live result; not every native Shopify element is supported.
Your own checkout domain
Voss supports an optional branded checkout subdomain after DNS and connection verification. Domain configuration alone is not proof of security or processor approval.
Honest payment identity
A customer may see Whop's processor name; explain this accurately, rather than masking the payment provider's role.
No fabricated conversion uplift
A trustworthy checkout can reduce confusion, but external checkout may remove native features such as Shop Pay. Conversion improvement depends on the actual store, device and available methods.
What's causing checkout hesitation at your store?
Don't replace checkout if the actual problem is unsupported payment methods or unclear policies.
Choose your situation to get a specific recommendation. No contact details required.
Not an account-approval or eligibility decision. Whop makes its own payment acceptance, risk and payout decisions. A restricted provider's existing funds remain with that provider.
Questions worth resolving before signing up
Can customers see my logo and store colors?
Yes, the visual Voss editor includes supported branding controls. The actual experience depends on each merchant's published configuration.
Will a customer see my brand on their credit card statement?
Whop's buyer terms say Whop appears as the payment processor. The merchant is separately identified on the receipt. Do not promise otherwise.
Does Voss include every Shopify payment method?
No. Payment methods depend on the connected Whop account, customer country, currency, browser and method eligibility. Native Shopify checkout apps and wallets can differ.
Does adding a checkout subdomain guarantee better conversion?
No. It's a continuity and branding option, not a measured conversion lift. Only real traffic and successful payments can establish an outcome.
Voss costs 0.5% per successfully processed order with $0 setup and $0 monthly software fees. Whop processing charges are separate. Whop and its financial partners decide business eligibility, payment methods, reviews and payouts. See Voss pricing →
Evidence and useful next steps

Keep your products and fulfillment in Shopify. Voss connects your storefront to a separate branded checkout where your own Whop business processes payment.
