Test NGN and your main buyer currency
NGN is configured in Voss, but currency configuration is not the same as a confirmed live Whop payment or payout.
Recreate a normal customer order
Use a real cart with products, shipping address and any discounts. Verify methods, order total and completed Shopify order.
Know the full fee
Voss charges 0.5% per successful order. Add Whop payment fees, any currency conversion and applicable Shopify charges when comparing total cost.
Frequently asked questions
Is Shopify Payments available in Nigeria?
No. As of October 2026, Nigeria is not listed in Shopify's supported countries for Shopify Payments. You can still consider eligible third-party providers or a separate checkout.
Can I use Voss if my business is based in Nigeria?
Only if Whop approves your real business, products, payment activity and payout setup. A configured currency or available Voss account does not guarantee Whop merchant approval.
Does Voss support Nigerian bank transfers?
Local bank transfer, USSD and NIBSS methods are not guaranteed. Whop determines payment-method availability, so don't depend on them without an actual merchant test.
Can I use NGN checkout?
NGN is included among Voss's configured currencies. Actual NGN acceptance, business KYC and settlement are Whop decisions.
Can I withdraw to a Nigerian bank?
That requires confirmation in your own verified Whop account; Voss does not promise Nigerian bank payouts or specific withdrawal timing.
How much does Voss Checkout cost?
Voss has no setup charge or monthly software fee. It charges 0.5% per successfully processed order. Whop processing, conversion and other applicable fees are separate.
