For paid-social Shopify advertisers

Changing checkout shouldn't mean guessing which ads made sales.

If your ads depend on AddToCart, InitiateCheckout and Purchase events, a checkout switch demands a tracking plan—not a promise that pixels will magically work. Voss supports Meta Pixel, server-side Conversions API and TikTok event tracking around an external Shopify checkout.

Whop processing fees are separate. Payment eligibility and payouts are controlled by Whop.

01Keep your Shopify store

Products, cart and fulfillment stay on Shopify.

02Accept payments with Whop

Your connected, eligible Whop business processes the payment.

03Orders return to Shopify

Confirmed paid orders sync for the normal fulfillment workflow.

THE REAL BUYING DECISION

A paid order is not the same thing as a browser event.

An advertiser can see a thank-you page while a payment is still pending, or see a real order that wasn't attributed in Ads Manager. Tracking must be validated against actual captured payments and Shopify orders, with browser/server event deduplication and customer consent respected.

Four questions your ads dashboard can't answer alone

Does Purchase mean a verified payment?

Compare Meta/TikTok Purchase counts with captured payments and confirmed Shopify orders—not only client-side redirects.

Are browser and server events deduplicated?

Meta Pixel and CAPI should share appropriate event identifiers so the same order isn't counted twice.

Are in-app browsers handled?

Mobile ad traffic may arrive inside TikTok or Instagram browsers. Test an actual end-to-end purchase in those environments.

What if customers decline consent?

Event delivery depends on applicable consent settings and platform rules. Do not bypass privacy choices to increase event counts.

The tracking verification procedure before moving traffic

  1. Connect your Shopify store and eligible Whop business, complete setup and record the checkout URL being tested.
  2. Configure Meta Pixel/CAPI or TikTok tracking in Voss and verify the intended account identifiers.
  3. Test PageView, ViewContent, AddToCart and checkout-started events against one deliberate buyer journey.
  4. Complete a real payment and confirm a single paid Shopify order. Compare your Purchase event ID and event matching diagnostics to the actual payment.
  5. Repeat on mobile and inside relevant ad-platform browsers; account for platform delays before calling attribution broken.
YOUR NEXT STEP

What's happening to your campaign reporting?

Pick the failure you're seeing. Your first step may be diagnostics rather than changing checkout.

Choose your situation to get a specific recommendation. No contact details required.

Not an account-approval or eligibility decision. Whop makes its own payment acceptance, risk and payout decisions. A restricted provider's existing funds remain with that provider.

Before you make the switch: common objections

Will Voss guarantee Meta ROAS attribution?

No. Privacy restrictions, platform modeling, attribution windows and browser behavior limit what any integration can guarantee.

Does Voss track checkout events automatically?

Voss has supported Meta/TikTok tracking integrations when configured; verify the event you actually see for the store, consent state and browser.

Should I change checkout purely to fix tracking?

Not necessarily. Audit your current Pixel/CAPI and Shopify event setup first. Switching checkout introduces a separate payment journey that must also be tested.

Inspect the actual workflow before committing

Voss provides a separate Shopify checkout that processes payments through your own eligible Whop business. It is not an official Shopify payment gateway, not a guarantee of approval or faster payouts, and not a way to bypass a provider's restrictions. Verify your products, available countries, customer payment methods and the paid-order result.

FOR ELIGIBLE SHOPIFY STORES

A checkout is ready for your ads only when payment, orders and tracking agree.

Keep your products and fulfillment in Shopify. Voss connects your storefront to a separate branded checkout where your own Whop business processes payment.

Voss cannot release funds held by another provider or guarantee Whop approval or payout timing.
