Voss Checkout vs Pendym: two Shopify + Whop checkouts with different feature depth
Voss Checkout and Pendym are unusually close on the core idea: keep the Shopify store, connect the merchant's own Whop account, move the buyer payment to a branded external checkout, and write paid orders back to Shopify. The differences are mostly in feature maturity today.

When Voss is the better fit
Voss is built for stores that mainly want a straightforward Shopify-to-Whop checkout without a fixed software fee. The current product puts most of its emphasis on checkout reliability, guided setup, Shopify order write-back, custom domains and ad tracking.
When Pendym may be the better fit
If you need subscriptions, order bumps or post-purchase offers immediately, Pendym currently advertises those features while Voss still marks subscriptions as coming soon. That makes Pendym the stronger fit for stores that need those specific tools today.
The two products are close on price.
With both public price lists at 0.5% and no monthly or setup fee, the decision is more about which feature set and workflow you prefer than a large headline price difference.
Looking beyond these two?
Test your real store before switching
Whichever product you choose, test the exact shipping rates, taxes, discounts, currencies, tracking events and refund workflow your store uses. A separate checkout also does not guarantee Whop approval, payouts, or freedom from Shopify or Whop reviews.
